Yarn spun in Yolo County from wool from our East Friesian sheep. Hand-dyed with Black Knight Scabiosa flowers grown on our ranch. The dye-bath was modified with iron. The color is only slightly darker and more muted than the E Friesian yarn dyed at the same time with scabiosa minus iron (Lot 1). Yarn is 2-ply, in 3.25-ounce, 200-yard skeins.
Gauge: 4 – 5 stitches/inch on size 7 to 9 needles.
