Odette: 75% Cormo Black Fleece

Odette is a daughter of our black Cormo ram, Prince, and granddaughter of our white Cormo ram, Perry. She is 75% Cormo and 25% Corriedale. This is her hogget fleece; it is very fine and super soft. I don’t have fiber diameter on it yet, but Prince and Perry are both around 20 microns, and her mother Clara has a fiber diameter of 25.  This fleece and the one of Odette’s twin sister Tiana are the finest fleeces I have for sale this season. The fleece was protected with a coat, and is very clean and well-skirted. Black fleeces are difficult to photograph accurately, but the color of this one is very black. It has a staple length of 6 inches. Skirted weight of the full fleece is 8.4 pounds, and I plan to show this one if it doesn’t sell, so I’m selling it as a whole fleece only. Price $24/lb.
