Meryl: Charcoal-grey Romney Raw Fleece

This fleece, from our recessive-colored Romney ewe, Meryl, won the 1/4 blood class in the Natural Colored Fleece division at the California National Wool Show at the Mendocino County Fair in September 2022.  It is charcoal grey with a lovely lustre. It was protected with a coat and has been heavily skirted and very clean. It has a staple length of nearly 8 inches. Skirted weight of the full fleece is 7.8 pounds, and I am selling the fleece as two half-fleeces, 3.9 lbs each. Price $16/lb. Cost for half-fleece: $62 + tax, with $21 shipping.
