Frieda is a white “Friedale” (Corriedale x East Friesian) ewe. Her fleece is lovely and soft, with a fine crimp, 6-inch staple-length and fiber diameter of 33.3 microns. She was coated and this fleece is virtually free of vegetable matter. This is a raw, unwashed white fleece. Skirted weight of the full fleece is 6 lbs, and I’m selling the fleece as two half-fleeces, 3 lbs each, price $19/lb. Total cost for a half-fleece: $57 plus tax and shipping.
