Our recessive-colored Romney ewe, Celeste, is the grande dame of our flock, at 14 years old. Her fleece has maintained its color and quality–it is medium grey with a lovely lustre. It was protected with a coat and has been heavily skirted and very clean. It has a staple length of 5 inches. Skirted weight of the full fleece is 4.7 pounds, and I am selling the fleece as two half-fleeces, 2.3 lbs each. Price $16/lb. Cost for half-fleece: $36.80 + tax, with $21 shipping.
